Managing Partner
Russell Petiot is the Managing Partner of Precedent Developments, where he leads the firm’s strategic growth, investment structure, and operational execution. With a background in Financial Analysis and Entrepreneurship from Mount Royal University, and over a decade of experience in senior leadership roles, he brings a sharp business lens to every stage of development. As Co-founder and Managing Director of Bujou Studios, and with a decade in real estate investments and exempt market securities compliance, Russell has a proven track record of scaling ventures nationally and delivering long-term value.
Myles Winnicki
Head of Construction
With over 39 years of industry experience and more than 600 homes built across Western Canada, Myles leads construction operations at Precedent Developments with unmatched expertise. His leadership ensures every project is delivered with precision, quality, and efficiency—from land selection to final walkthrough. Myles brings a hands-on, cost-conscious approach that reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
Maggie Bowles
Head of Design & Social Impact
Maggie Bowles is Head of Design & Social Impact at Precedent Developments, where she leads the integration of aesthetic vision and community values across all projects. With a Master’s in Political Science from UBC, a Fine Arts IB diploma, and over a decade of creative industry experience, she brings a rare blend of design intuition and policy insight. As co-founder of Bujou Studios—named Canada’s top real estate marketing firm in 2023 and 2024—Maggie ensures every space we build tells a story and serves a purpose.
