The Resort at Cypress Hills
The hotel addition at The Resort at Cypress Hills was designed to expand the property’s accommodation and food-and-beverage offerings while enhancing the overall guest experience. The project introduced 10 two-storey, two-bedroom loft-style townhomes known as the Loch Leven Views Condos, adding a distinctive new lodging option to the resort. It also included the expansion and addition of two food and beverage venues: Ivan’s Restaurant, which also serves as a banquet hall, and The Pines Lounge & Patio.

The Vision
The vision for the project was to thoughtfully expand The Resort at Cypress Hills in a way that enhanced both its guest accommodations and its hospitality experience. By introducing the Loch Leven Views Condos alongside new dining and gathering spaces, the project was intended to create a more complete destination for leisure travellers, group stays, and special events. The result is an expanded resort offering that supports year-round use and a stronger sense of place.
The Result
The completed project delivered a meaningful expansion of The Resort at Cypress Hills, broadening both its accommodation offering and its food-and-beverage experience. The addition of the Loch Leven Views Condos introduced a new lodging typology to the property, giving guests a more spacious, residential-style stay option suited to families, groups, and longer visits. Ivan’s Restaurant, with its ability to function as a banquet hall, added greater flexibility for dining, gatherings, and hosted events, while The Pines Lounge & Patio created a more casual destination for guests to relax and connect. Together, these additions enhanced the overall guest experience and brought greater depth and versatility to the resort. The result is a stronger, more complete hospitality destination designed to serve visitors across a wider range of experiences throughout the year.
