As Head of Design & Social Impact, Maggie Bowles leads the creative direction and community-driven strategies behind every Precedent project. She ensures that design decisions are not only visually compelling but also aligned with the needs, identities, and aspirations of the people and places we build for. Maggie oversees architectural concepting, interior design, and brand integration across our residential and commercial developments. She also champions social impact initiatives—from affordable housing design to local artist collaborations—embedding purpose into the foundation of each build. Her role bridges beauty and responsibility, ensuring every Precedent project is as thoughtful as it is timeless.


Maggie Bowles brings over a decade of experience in the creative and built environment industries, blending fine arts training with a deep understanding of policy and social impact. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from UBC and an International Baccalaureate in Fine Arts, grounding her work in both creative expression and systems thinking. As co-founder of Bujou Studios, she led award-winning branding and marketing campaigns for real estate, architecture, and hospitality projects across North America. Her work has helped launch some of Canada’s most celebrated developments, positioning her as a trusted voice at the intersection of design and strategy. Maggie’s background enables her to see the bigger picture—connecting design choices to cultural relevance, community outcomes, and long-term value.
